While there are many tools, opening your organisation up to microblogging is a difficult decision. It flies in the face of traditional management control over information. However, the perceived benefits entail that organisations and technology providers come together to create a workable solution. http://www.brandpilgrim.com/2010/09/the-case-for-enterprise-microblogging.html

Thanks for the comment! Feel free to come and join the 'party'!

RSS and phones, I think, will soon become a free RSS to Text service and, once email authentication and RSS has become solid, receiving your email via RSS via text.

Thanks for the comment, I agree about RSS and phones. No one has made such a big noise about it, but RSS is so dramatically powerful and its now allied with the most ubiquitous technology: mobile phone.

You are too modest in that you have a hand in the micro-blogging engine Blabto.com. Nice looking!

I really do see micro-blogging as the new method to communicate. The opportunity to users to basically 'text instead of talk' (micro-blog instead of write) is obviously inviting.

Companies too are able to benefit from this opportunity and use the RSS feed tools to display their latest micro-blogs in their entirety.

With mobile phones having the ability to subscribe to RSS feeds, companies can really begin to take off communication wise!
